For Employers and Recruiters

RPh Careers is a unique, pharmacist-only job board designed to enhance the pharmacy career search experience for both employers and job seekers. By creating a pharmacist-only job board, our interest is to empower the profession of pharmacy by optimizing the pharmacy career search experience. RPh Careers allows pharmacists from a wide variety of settings the opportunity to dynamically pursue and apply to job openings that meet their interests and skill sets.

As fellow pharmacists and the creators of RPh Careers, we understand that not all candidates have the same professional career interests or qualifications. We want employers and recruiters to be able to find the best pharmacy candidates for their jobs. By providing the required information to create an individualized profile, each pharmacist’s information creates a digital resume designed around the pharmacy profession. This digital resume then gets entered into the digital database, which employers and recruiters may elect to have access to.

By registering as an employer or recruiter with RPh Careers, you are joining a platform designed to connect you with qualified pharmacists who are actively and passively looking for their next career opportunity. In addition to uploading job postings and accepting applications, you have an extremely valuable tool—the digital database. The pharmacy-specific information released by the pharmacist into the digital database is powerful as it recognizes the candidate’s accomplishments, interests, experiences, and qualifications. Use the database to search and filter digital resumes and connect with pharmacists from across the profession who express similar career interests or meet your specific job requirements. Stop missing out on the perfect candidate for your position. Connect with pharmacists you want on your team even if they are not actively job searching or they haven’t applied.

Find THEM, or let them find YOU. That’s RPh Careers.

In just a single month the keywords “pharmacist jobs” and “pharmacist job openings” were captured on a single search engine 100,000 times. Every day pharmacists nationwide are looking for career placement, opportunities, and advancement. Yet, there are few, if any, job boards dedicated to this respected healthcare profession. Pharmacists who are actively searching must comb through hundreds of jobs on multiple job board websites that often don’t apply to their occupation, interests, or qualifications.

What if these job seekers only needed to access one platform to submit their interests and qualifications to employers looking to hire AND to search, view, and apply for job postings?

What if, as an employer or recruiter, you could:

  • Have access to hundreds, even thousands, of potential digital resumes all at the tips of your fingers?
  • Post jobs to a pharmacist-only job board?
  • Connect with candidates who meet your specified qualifications without having them put in an application?
  • Sort through a database of digital resumes?
  • Target candidates who specify corresponding career interests?
  • Eliminate the need to post jobs on multiple job boards?
  • Save money by targeting the correct audience of prospective applicants?
  • Filter candidate applications that do not meet your designated criteria with a few simple clicks, saving you time and effort?

How are we different? We ARE the profession. We are a pharmacist team who understand and recognize the advantages that different pharmacy skill sets, interests, and experiences can provide employers and recruiters and are using that knowledge to place jobs faster with better candidates. By using RPh Careers, you are able to post pharmacist-only jobs to a single job board and target the correct audience of prospective applicants—those who apply AND those who express career interests and qualifications that align with your requirements. Use the digital database, specific to the profession of pharmacy, to find digital resumes and connect with candidates who meet your specific qualifications, even if they haven’t applied. In addition, use the filters of the digital database to eliminate the need to review irrelevant or under qualified candidates, saving you time and effort.

As fellow pharmacists and the creators of RPh Careers, we understand that not all candidates have the same professional career interests or qualifications. By providing the required information to create an individualized profile, each pharmacist’s protected information creates a digital resume designed around the pharmacy profession. This digital resume then gets entered into the digital database.

What is a digital resume? A digital resume answers, at a minimum, 8 questions about the pharmacist’s current contact information, work experiences, and qualifications. The pharmacists may also choose to enter additional information about their skill sets and career interests. At any time the candidate may edit their privacy settings to make their information and digital resume “public” (accessible by registered employers or recruiters of RPh Careers) or “private” (hidden from employers or job recruiters). In addition to a digital resume, job seekers also have the ability to submit an uploaded resume and CV.

But how does the digital resume help you as an employer or recruiter?

By providing a snapshot of a pharmacist’s experiences and accomplishments, the industry-specific digital resume and database becomes a valuable tool. It provides job posters the ability to use a candidate’s interests and experiences found in the digital resume database to aid in job placement and maximize career satisfaction. It also eliminates the need to comb through hundreds of resumes to find qualifications that are important to your specific job needs. Use designated filters to find, for instance, pharmacists who are residency trained, board certified, or who have experience in retail management. Instead of potentially eliminating job seeker’s resumes from the hiring pool using unreliable Applicant Tracking Systems, filtering through hardcopy resumes, or waiting for candidates to apply, both parties can benefit by identifying the most qualified candidates in the digital database using industry-specific skill sets.

Registered employers and recruiters that have purchased a database subscription plan have access to all digital resumes that candidates have selected as publically viewable. This means that while candidates may not be actively looking or applying or job postings, their accessible information allows you to contact them about available job opportunities based on their experiences and interests. Connect with an unlimited amount of candidates who may meet your desired qualifications, even if they haven’t applied! Additionally, use the database filters to eliminate job applicants who do not meet the criteria you set. Find candidates that meet YOUR needs.

To create a profile and register as a member, candidates must answer a series of questions, which allows the creation of their digital resume. To be entered into the digital resume database and obtain membership, the pharmacist must answer, at a minimum, 8 required questions. Additional, but optional, questions may also be answered to enhance and personalize their digital resume.  Candidates may also elect to upload a resume, CV, and cover letter. At any time the candidate may update their digital resume information.

While pharmacists are encouraged to complete their digital resume by completing their profile entirely, some candidates may only complete the required portion, which would display less information than those who completed the entire questionnaire.

Yes. If a candidate applies to a job posting, the job poster has access to the applicant’s digital resume. The digital resume essentially completes their application for the job posting, allowing you as the job poster more flexibility to sort applicants and identify key qualifications of interest the candidate possesses. It also simplifies the application process for the pharmacist, making it faster and easier than ever to apply and secure jobs that meet their interests.

If the candidate has their digital resume set to private, it is hidden from the digital database. It is no longer hidden from employer or recruiter view, regardless of privacy setting, once the candidate applies to the job position.

The candidate likely had their digital resume set to private. This setting hides the digital resume from the digital database unless a candidate applies to a job opening.

No, a digital resume cannot be submitted as a candidate’s resume or CV if they apply to a job posting. Employers who post a job with RPh Careers will have access to view the digital resume of any applicant. We understand most employers will want to require a PDF of a resume or CV during the application process, and make it easy for candidates to attach one.

Unlike many other job boards that limit the number of resume views you have, our digital database access is unlimited for the duration of the selected purchase. There is no limit to the number of candidates or contact information you can obtain.
